“TOGETHER FOR WORLD PEACE”

"In this piece I wanted to express the positive human rights idea that the world could be a place where everyone has the right to freely participate in the cultural life of the community of their choice. The dancers are grouped around the map to allow the viewer to imagine a togetherness of people all over the earth trying to live together in peace and harmony. The movement of the figures expresses the natural and primal desire of all peoples to express their feelings and search for a way to achieve peace and tranquility in this troubled world."
